Math practice where kids actually write.
An iPad app where your child solves math the way it should be solved: by hand, step by step.
An AI tutor reads the handwriting and says what was right, what to fix, and how. No answer boxes, no multiple choice, no tapping.
One email at launch. No newsletter, no signup, no data stored.
I didn't want my kid learning math by tapping a screen.
Most math apps are the same machine underneath: multiple choice, an answer box, right or wrong, next question. A child can guess their way through. The thinking, the setup, the steps in between, everything that actually is mathematics, is nowhere.
This app goes the other way. The screen is paper. The pencil is a pencil. There is no answer box and nothing to tap for credit. The child writes the whole solution, like on paper, and gets feedback on what they actually wrote: the answer, the setup, and the working.
Writing isn't the wrapper around the learning. Writing is the learning.
How it works
-
Placement
A short handwritten placement test finds where your child stands and where to start.
-
A daily dose
About 20 minutes a day: practice, word problems, and reviews that resurface at the right moment so skills stick.
-
Write, don't tap
Every single problem is solved in handwriting. Shown work earns several times the points of a bare answer, so guessing never pays.
-
Feedback in seconds
The tutor reads the handwriting, says what was right, and gives a hint instead of handing over the answer.
-
Mastery opens the next door
Each unit ends in a boss battle. The next unit unlocks at 80%, not when time passes. Monsters, relics and ranks keep it fun; mastery opens the doors.
A grade doesn't tell you what your child knows. The work does.
A letter on a report card says little about what is missing. Here, every handwritten solution is kept on the iPad. You can leaf through your child's real working, see where it slips, and watch the skills grow, one by one, mapped to the Icelandic national curriculum for grades 1 to 10. The deepest ready-made content today is for grades 4 to 7, and it grows.
Built on what we know about learning
None of these ideas are ours; they are among the most robust findings in learning science, and the app is built around them.
Privacy
No accounts. No ads. No tracking. Your child's work lives on the iPad, not with us. Handwriting leaves the device only for the moment it is being graded, is auto-deleted by the AI provider within 30 days, and is never used to train AI models.
